Richard Hollingsworth is co-founder and chief executive of Fyxer, the London company behind an AI assistant for email, scheduling and meeting notes. Fyxer AI Limited was incorporated in October 2023. He runs it with his brother Archie Hollingsworth and chief technology officer Matt Ffrench, both co-founders.
Hollingsworth started out as a quantitative trader and later led a trading team in London. In 2018 he and Archie set up an executive assistant business that the company says grew into Europe’s largest tech-enabled one, and which logged more than 500,000 hours of assistant work. That data, Fyxer says, showed where professionals lose time and shaped the product.
An assistant that writes like you
Fyxer connects to a user’s email and calendar, sorts incoming mail, drafts replies in the user’s voice, handles scheduling and writes up meetings. “We created Fyxer to solve the draining cycle of repetitive yet essential tasks that consume professionals’ energy and limit their potential,” Hollingsworth said in September 2025. Named customers include the property firms Knight Frank and eXp Realty.
From $1m to $30m
Fyxer raised a $10m (£7.5m) Series A led by 20VC and a $30m Series B led by Madrona with Lakestar in September 2025, bringing its total to $43m. The company says annual recurring revenue grew from $1m to $30m during 2025, that it processed 1.4 billion emails that year and has organized 350,000 inboxes, and that staff grew from seven to 56 in under a year. It has offices in London and the US.
In March 2026 Tech Nation named Fyxer to its Future Fifty, a program for 25 UK scaleups. The Financial Times covered the company in February 2026.
Why it matters to UK buyers
Email remains where much professional time goes, and Fyxer sells to the people and firms who feel that most: advisers, agents and client-facing staff. For UK IT leaders, it is one of several AI tools that staff may adopt on their own, so questions about mailbox access, data handling and how drafts are approved are likely to come up whether or not the business buys it centrally. For managed service providers supporting Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace estates, it is a product their clients may already be asking about.
Hollingsworth turned a human assistant business into an AI one and, by the company’s account, took it to $30m in recurring revenue within a year. The next measure is whether that growth holds as larger firms decide which AI assistants to allow into their mailboxes.
