Flowla raises $2.5m to turn the sales room into an engine

Flowla has raised a seed round led by Revo Capital to automate the B2B sale from first meeting to renewal. But the money also pays for a US go-to-market team, and the automation sits in its pricier plans

On 27 January Flowla, a London-based maker of software for B2B sales and customer success teams, announced a $2.5m (£1.8m) seed round led by Revo Capital. AI Startup Factory, Türkiye Development Fund, APY Ventures and Sharks & Partners took part, alongside angel investors including Salesforce operators. Chief executive Erdem Gelal made the announcement in a post on Flowla’s blog.

Flowla was founded in 2022 by Erdem Gelal, Oguz Gelal and Alper Yurder, according to Tech.eu’s report on its pre-seed round in March 2023, and Companies House records Flowla Ltd as incorporated on 13 April 2022. The Gelals, whom BusinessCloud describes as Turkish cousins, are listed on the company’s about page as co-founders, Erdem as CEO and Oguz as CTO. Erdem Gelal had previously built an enterprise sales product that was acquired by Groupe UP, Tech.eu reported in 2023.

The idea started with the inbox. Flowla’s about page argues that email has become “the new notification feed: good for being in the know, but dreadful at building engagement”. What the founders built is a digital sales room: a branded web page where a seller gathers the decks, videos, calendars, action plans, forms and contracts a buyer needs, and can see who opened what and for how long.

The seed round is a bet that this category, which began as a tidier way to share files, can run the sale itself. Gelal’s post is direct about it: “In an AI native world, you cannot build a predictable revenue model on the hope that every rep will follow the playbook perfectly.” The money goes on Flowla’s automation engine and content generation and on a dedicated US-based go-to-market team, according to Tech.eu and BusinessCloud.

From shared link to system of action

Gelal’s post splits the revenue stack into three layers. The CRM is the system of record, AI notetakers and email supply the context, and Flowla is what he calls the “customer layer”, the system of action that sits between the company’s data and its buyer. A manager writes the rules and the room applies them. His example is a prospect in healthcare being shown one case study, with the mutual action plan opened up once the deal reaches stage two.

The same room is meant to outlast the signature. Flowla says one link serves as a deal room for the buyer, then an onboarding hub for the new customer and a renewal center for the account manager. Its home page lists workflows that draft a tailored introduction email in Gmail when a new decision maker enters a room, or send handoff notes to the customer success team in Slack when a deal is marked closed won in the CRM. The product connects to HubSpot, Salesforce, Attio, Slack and Zapier.

That pitch puts Flowla closer to revenue operations software than to a document-sharing tool. Tech.eu quoted Gelal saying Flowla “provides the customer-facing layer where revenue execution runs on autopilot”.

Prices, customers and backers

Flowla charges per seat. A free Starter plan allows five rooms. Pro costs $49 (£36) per seat a month. The Team plan, at $79 (£58) per seat a month with a five-seat minimum, adds the AutoPilot workflows, AI agents and management reports. Enterprise pricing is custom, with a 20-seat minimum, custom domains and single sign-on. Only staff who create rooms are billed, and colleagues with view-only access are not.

The automation the round is meant to scale sits in the Team plan and above, so the price list is built to move customers from a room to a workflow. Flowla names Insider, UserGuiding and Sourcescrub among its customers. It says UserGuiding increased its close rates by 34% with Flowla and that Sourcescrub improved its forecast accuracy by 25%. Both are the company’s own case-study figures, as are the home page claims of 34% more closed-won deals and 35% faster onboarding.

The seed follows a $1.3m (£960,000) pre-seed round in March 2023, led by Antler, Fuel Ventures and ScaleX Ventures with Logo Ventures and industry insiders from companies such as Salesforce, as Tech.eu reported at the time. That takes Flowla’s disclosed funding to $3.8m (£2.8m). Revo Capital, which The SaaS News describes as an early-stage firm founded in 2013 that focuses on Turkey, Eastern Europe and the Baltics, is the new lead name on that list.

A US team for the customer layer

The US go-to-market team is the clearest change the money buys. Flowla calls itself a London-headquartered company with a distributed team, and its about page shows staff in roles from customer success to backend engineering, with flags for nine countries. The 2023 round was raised to hire and expand across Europe. The 2026 round pays for a team based in the US.

What that team will sell is the three-layer stack in Gelal’s post. The CRM holds the record and the notetaker holds the transcript, and Flowla wants to control what the customer sees between meetings. Gelal opens the post on the “Sell me this pen” scene and closes it on his answer: “Build the system where the pen sells itself.”

The $2.5m gives Flowla a US go-to-market team and time to prove the claim in that post, that a sales room should run the process rather than store the files. Its public evidence so far is three named customers and results it publishes itself. The next round is likely to turn on whether US revenue teams pay $79 a seat for the automation rather than $49 for the room.
