Acuity Law advises commercial clients from offices in Cardiff, Bristol, Swansea, London and Liverpool. Its sector teams include health and social care, sustainable development, energy, social housing, banking and finance, and startups, and its accounts describe a business that supplies legal advice alongside technology-led products for legal and business processes. The firm says it has more than 120 specialist lawyers.

Steve Berry is chairman and Gareth Baker is senior partner. Acuity Law Limited, the trading company, was incorporated at Companies House in 2011 and is controlled by Acuity Law Group Limited.

A hybrid model

The firm runs what its strategic report calls a hybrid model: an employed division and a division of self-employed consultant partners within a single business. The report says the structure helps it attract experienced lawyers and support senior lawyers through technology and the efficient use of junior lawyers. Revenue generated through consultants rose 32% in the year and accounted for 27% of turnover.

“We’ve built a different kind of law firm,” Berry said in September 2026.

Turnover up 15%

The company’s accounts for the year to 30 November 2025, filed at Companies House in August 2026, show turnover of £18.6m, up from £16.2m, a rise of 14.8%. Profit before tax rose 64% to £2.8m. The company employed an average of 114 people, with consultant partners working alongside them on a self-employed basis. The strategic report says the firm is investing in AI-backed tools to improve margin and the range of services it offers clients.

In September 2026 the firm moved its head office to 3 Callaghan Square in Cardiff. It said corporate transactions it worked on in the previous 12 months were worth more than £750m in total and that annual revenue was on track to exceed £20m. The firm was named Property Law Firm of the Year at the Insider Wales Property Awards in June 2026.

For owner-managed businesses, investors and organizations in housing, care and energy, Acuity offers a commercial firm with a Cardiff base and offices in Bristol, Swansea, London and Liverpool. The new head office on Callaghan Square is also the company’s registered office.
