Turnover up 15% to £54.1m
Turnover rose 15% to £54.1m in the year to 30 April 2025, from £47.3m, according to the accounts Cripps LLP filed at Companies House in October 2025. Fee income was £54.0m, up from £47.2m. The members’ report attributes the rise to growth across the business together with the acquisition of PDT Solicitors on 31 January 2024, which brought the Horsham office. Operating profit rose from £8.0m to £8.6m.
The LLP employed an average of 470 people in the year, up from 431: 241 lawyers and 229 support staff. The average number of members rose from 32 to 36. Staff costs rose 16% to £30.7m, which the members’ report puts down to higher staff numbers following the PDT acquisition, salary increases and investment in people.
A commercial and technology team from Radius
In March 2026 Cripps announced that the team from Radius Law, a specialist firm advising large corporates, particularly in the automotive sector, would join its commercial and technology practice on 1 May 2026. Radius founder Iain Larkins, a former general counsel of Mercedes-Benz UK Group, joined as a partner. The firm said the move took its commercial and technology team to 20 people across its London and South East offices. Beatton said Larkins had built a team at Radius “with strong and trusted relationships with large corporates”.
Certified as a B Corp
Cripps received B Corp certification in January 2024 with a score of 86.1, according to its website, up from 60 points in its first assessment in 2019. It publishes an annual impact report; the 2025 edition came out in May 2026. In June 2026 the firm reported raising £18,600 in the first year of its partnership with the charity Meals & More.
