A base in Abu Dhabi
In December 2025 Forsters launched a base in Abu Dhabi Global Market, led by private wealth partner James Brockhurst with a Middle East team drawn from its private wealth, corporate, dispute resolution and real estate practices. The firm said the base would advise Middle Eastern families and investors on succession planning, family governance, cross-border planning and structuring, as well as cryptoassets.
Its private wealth work has drawn awards. At the STEP Private Client Awards 2026 in September the firm won International Legal Team of the Year (large firm) and Digital Assets Team of the Year. In the Legal 500 UK 2027 guide, published on 1 October 2026, it is ranked in 24 practice areas, with 46 individual listings, 33 partners recognized and nine partners in the Hall of Fame.
For property owners, investors, wealthy families and the businesses they own, the firm offers real estate and private wealth advice under one roof, with international reach from a London base. Across the major legal directories, it reports 34 practice groups ranked and more than 125 individual rankings.
