Exabeam says partners are now its highest-volume sales source

A year into its APEX partner program, the security analytics vendor reports pipeline and bookings above plan, though its own release disagrees with itself on how many regions hit target

The facts
  • Exabeam says it funded more than 90 partner-led campaigns and events
  • Pinnacle partners rated satisfaction at 4.40 out of 5 in the vendor’s survey
  • Exabeam has added a Google Cloud Marketplace listing and a co-engineered Google Security Operations integration
  • No revenue, European or UK figures disclosed
What it means for partners

For UK partners weighing Exabeam against larger security information and event management (SIEM) vendors, the most useful disclosure may be the campaign funding, which suggests market development money is reaching partners. The headline percentages are harder to use.

A vendor whose own release can’t agree on how many regions hit target is asking partners to take the momentum on trust. Partners should ask their Exabeam channel manager for European figures before building a practice plan on them.

“A year later, we have the results to back up that strategy.”Craig Patterson, senior vice-president of global channels and marketing, Exabeam

Exabeam said on 23 September that channel partners had become its highest-volume sales source, a little over a year after it launched the Exabeam APEX Partner Program in July 2025. The figures cover the first half of 2026 and are the company’s own.

Exabeam said channel-driven new-logo pipeline “exceeded target by 138% globally” and that expansion bookings “reached 125% of plan”. The release doesn’t make clear whether the first figure means pipeline reached 138% of target or beat it by that margin. It is also inconsistent on geography: one passage says pipeline targets were exceeded “across every region”, while a later bullet says they were exceeded “in three of four global regions”.

Partner sentiment comes from Exabeam’s own 2026 Voice of the Partner survey of 115 partners across six regions. It found 82% satisfied or very satisfied and, among Pinnacle partners in the top tier, a Net Promoter Score (NPS) of +61.9. The release also quotes Ian Thomas, chief executive of UK-based Sapphire, praising Sherpa, Exabeam’s AI-powered virtual channel account manager.
