Charlotte Shone

Charlotte Shone is director of channel sales for EMEA at Cyera, a New York-based data security vendor, and works from London. She joined in September 2024, according to her own posts: by mid-September she was writing about a week of conversations with partners, and in October she was at AWS Cloud Day in Dublin with what she called Cyera’s UKI team. Before Cyera she was head of channel for EMEA at Island, the enterprise browser company, where in June 2023 she briefed Orange Cyberdefense’s enterprise and public sector sales teams. Her LinkedIn profile lists earlier roles at Forescout, Netskope and Symantec.

A UK partner bench, built in public

Cyera announced a partnership with Bytes Software Services in November 2024, two months after Shone arrived. She was tagged in the announcement and thanked the Bytes team for backing it. Bytes published its own announcement in September 2025 and says it was named EMEA partner of the year at Cyera’s sales kick-off for its 2027 financial year. In June 2026 Logicalis UK&I signed up to use Cyera’s agentless platform across its clients’ hybrid and multi-cloud estates.

Capital aimed at EMEA

On 22 September Cyera announced a $400m (£299m) investment from Goldman Sachs, valuing it at more than $12bn, and said the funds would support “continued international growth across EMEA and APAC”. The company says it grew from more than 1,100 staff in 15 countries in January to more than 1,500 in 18 countries by June. Its UK subsidiary, Cyera UK Ltd, was incorporated in London in February 2025.

Shone is one of 20 names shortlisted for CRN Woman of the Year at the 2026 Women & Diversity in Channel Awards. Winners are announced on 8 October.

Why it matters to the channel

Data security has become a condition of AI adoption, and UK resellers are choosing which platform to build a practice around. A vendor with fresh capital earmarked for EMEA is likely to spend on partner recruitment and enablement, and Shone decides where much of that goes.

She has put Cyera into two of the UK’s larger resellers in two years and is building its EMEA channel from London.
