John Taylor is vice-president, channels and alliances, Europe and Israel at CrowdStrike, the cybersecurity company. In February 2024 a Telefónica Tech announcement quoted him as vice-president of alliances for EMEA, and in May 2026 he presented CrowdStrike’s European partner awards under his current title.

UK partners at the top table

At CrowdStrike’s Europe Partner Symposium in Dubrovnik in May 2026, Softcat was named Europe Partner of the Year and BT won Europe Innovation Partner of the Year. Ignition Technology took Europe Strategic Distributor of the Year, and Rupert Ryan of Cysiam was named Europe Sales MVP. “Partners are central to how customers adopt and scale platform-based cybersecurity,” Taylor said.

The winners span the routes CrowdStrike uses to reach UK customers: a large reseller in Softcat, a telecoms group in BT, a specialist distributor in Ignition Technology and a security services firm in Cysiam.

A platform sold through partners

CrowdStrike says its managed security service provider (MSSP) business has grown to more than $1.3bn (£971m) in total contract value over the three years to the end of fiscal 2026. The wider company is speeding up. In the quarter to 31 July 2026, annual recurring revenue (ARR) grew 25% to $5.84bn (£4.4bn), and net new ARR reached a record $333m, up 51%. Revenue rose 26% to $1.47bn. ARR from customers on Falcon Flex, which lets them draw down modules from a committed spend, passed $2.29bn.

Why it matters to the channel

CrowdStrike’s pitch is platform consolidation, and it runs through partners: resellers such as Softcat, telecoms groups such as BT and MSSPs that bundle Falcon into managed detection and response (MDR) services. As Falcon Flex concentrates more customer spend on one platform, the partners that sell and manage it carry a larger share of each customer relationship.

Taylor’s awards list shows how central UK partners are to CrowdStrike in Europe, and his channel now carries an MSSP business the company puts at more than $1.3bn.
