N-able

N-able makes software that managed service providers and in-house IT teams use to manage, secure and back up the computers and servers they look after. Its products cover three areas: endpoint management (N-central and N-sight), security operations (Adlumin, endpoint detection and response, email and DNS filtering) and data protection (Cove).

The business began as N-able Technologies and was bought by SolarWinds in 2013. It was spun out of SolarWinds and listed on the New York Stock Exchange in July 2021, and is headquartered in Burlington, Massachusetts. It bought the security operations company Adlumin in November 2024, adding managed detection and response, and reported revenue of $511.4m for 2025.

Most of its sales go through managed service providers, resellers and distributors. In the UK it has offices in Edinburgh and Dundee, where it opened a security operations centre in July 2026. The same month it named Climb Channel Solutions as its distributor for UK and Irish resellers.
