Bechtle makes Bespoke XYZ the foundation of its AI Practice

Bechtle has bought Manchester’s Bespoke XYZ and its education-focused MSP, Savvy. The founders stay, and a long-standing project partner becomes the base for AI work that could reach across the group

On 5 November, Bechtle announced the acquisition of Bespoke XYZ, a Manchester-based Microsoft specialist in AI, data analytics and Power Platform, together with its subsidiary Savvy, a managed IT services provider focused on education. The deal brings 52 employees to the German IT group, including an offshore delivery team in the Philippines. Bespoke generated revenue of about £3.5m in the 2025/26 financial year. The price was not disclosed.

James Napp, Bechtle’s regional director, set out his approach to deals in December 2025, when he told IT Channel Oxygen: “We’re definitely open to either volume or skills set-enhancing acquisitions.”

The past fortnight has produced one of each. On 23 October, Bechtle announced the purchase of ITQuotes, a Dublin reseller with more than €30m (£25m) of revenue and about 20 employees, which gave it direct access to more Irish customers. Bespoke is the skills deal.

It is also the one with the larger role in Bechtle’s plans. “Bespoke will form the foundation of Bechtle’s AI Practice,” Napp said, describing a practice aimed at customers who “are often not sure where to begin”. Bechtle lists the expertise it gains as Microsoft Power Platform, Microsoft Fabric, Copilot and AI agents, along with AI strategy, automation, analytics and managed services.

A partner Bechtle already knew

The two companies have worked together on customer projects for more than two years, so Bechtle is bringing in a team it has already seen at work.

Bespoke was founded in 2013. Sam Bright, its chief executive, and Jordan Brookes are its founders and majority shareholders, and both are staying to develop the business alongside Bechtle. Bespoke will initially continue as an independent company inside the group.

“In Bechtle, we have found a strong partner that shares our vision and gives us new opportunities to scale our expertise and expand into new markets,” Bright said. Brookes said the move would let the company expand its expertise “in AI, automation and data platforms while supporting our customers even more effectively as they advance their digital transformation”.

What Bespoke brings with it

Bespoke’s published customer work shows the kind of projects now coming into the group. For Sunbelt Rentals, the equipment hire company, it built a system that standardizes tender data arriving in different formats and matches customers’ product descriptions against the Sunbelt catalog. For The Two Counties Trust, which runs nine secondary academies in Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire, it built a learning and development platform on Power Platform that tracks staff progress across every academy.

Its AI services are packaged in ways a larger sales organization can pick up. The Triple A Assessment is a one-day workshop that looks for AI, automation and analytics opportunities. Agents in 8 is a custom AI agent, built with Microsoft Copilot tools and deployed in eight days, with training and documentation included.

Bespoke also arrives with a channel of its own. Its partnership program lets agencies and consultancies refer clients who need AI, automation or analytics work. Bespoke handles delivery and pays the referrer a fee, which it puts at 10% over a 12-month period.

Savvy adds a different kind of business. It sells IT support, Microsoft 365 and licensing, cloud, infrastructure and cybersecurity to the education sector, a market Bespoke already works in through customers such as The Two Counties Trust.

A sixth deal from a stronger position

Bechtle counts Bespoke as its sixth transaction in the region, following ACS Systems in 2022, Tangible Benefit in 2023, Qolcom and DriveWorks in 2024 and ITQuotes in October. Napp told IT Channel Oxygen that his business wants to reach £500m of revenue, with £1bn as the medium-term goal.

The announcement came on the day Bechtle raised its full-year guidance for the second time in 2026. Preliminary third-quarter figures put business volume up about 19% at about €2.44bn (£2bn) and earnings before tax up about 14% at about €92m (£77m), and the group reports record order backlog. It now expects full-year pre-tax earnings to grow by more than 10%, against 5–10% before.

Bechtle says Bespoke’s expertise has the potential to benefit its wider European organization, supporting the expansion of AI-based consulting and transformation services across the group. ITQuotes gave Bechtle more customers in Dublin. Bespoke gives those customers, and the rest of the group’s, a team that has been building on Microsoft’s platforms for businesses since 2013.
