Your.Cloud buys Cloud Geeni in what it calls its fourth UK deal

The European buy-and-build group has now announced two UK acquisitions in a week, keeping local brands and teams in place as it builds what it calls its UK platform

The facts
  • Group size: more than 40 companies, around 1,600 staff and over 25,000 customers
  • Cloud Geeni services: managed IT support, cloud infrastructure and cybersecurity
  • First UK acquisition in its telecom, IT and cloud segment: Comm-Tech Voice & Data, Norwich, August 2025
  • Deal terms: not given in the announcement
What it means for partners

For owners of UK MSPs serving SMEs, another European consolidator is buying at pace, which gives sellers a route that keeps the brand alive and may support valuations. Regional rivals are likely to find themselves competing with providers that can draw on group investment and shared expertise. Vendors and distributors may see purchasing and program decisions at these firms drift toward group level over time.

“With its strong local presence, trusted customer relationships and solid expertise in managed IT, cloud and cybersecurity, Cloud Geeni is a valuable addition to our growing UK platform.”Adriaan Hoogduijn, portfolio director, Your.Cloud

Your.Cloud has acquired Cloud Geeni, a UK managed service provider serving SMEs, in what the group said on 23 April was its fourth UK acquisition.

Cloud Geeni draws on more than 30 years of history through the Key Computers family and will keep its name and existing team. Its founder, Jonathan Heaton, who is also chief executive of KCA Holding, is stepping away from the business.

The deal follows Your.Cloud’s purchase of Pure Cloud Solutions, a Tamworth-based IT and telecoms provider founded in 1990, announced on 16 April. In that announcement the group put its annual turnover above €350m (£300m). The group says its model is to buy locally rooted providers that keep their own identity and client relationships while drawing on shared expertise, investment and scale.

Pure Cloud and Comm-Tech were both set to keep their names and management under the group. Jamie Lake, chief executive of Pure Cloud, said at the time that the market was changing quickly around AI and cybersecurity, and that joining gave the business the platform to stay ahead of it. Cloud Geeni’s customers face the same pitch: local service, with a larger group’s resources behind it.
